Account Executive

The Role:
The Account Executive is a customer-facing mid-to-senior level (depending on experience) sales role. This role will develop, own and support sales opportunities in Inviso’s pipeline across our Practices. This role is critical to Inviso achieving our aggressive growth goals over the next five years and will have direct support and collaboration with executive leadership to achieve those goals. The role will work closely with Practice Leads and across Sales & Marketing to communicate strategy, capabilities and offerings to new prospects, clients and partners, including Microsoft field sellers.
Inviso is a leading Microsoft Partner with practices in Data & Analytics, Infrastructure & Security, and Business Process Automation leveraging Microsoft technologies across Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform. Our clients are looking for our expertise to help them build modern solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies. We work closely with clients to understand their IT infrastructure, data estate, security requirements, and business objectives to identify how modern Microsoft Cloud solutions can help them achieve those objectives. We support customers across North America and beyond, Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, Commercial and Public Sector, and across industries.
This is a remote role working from the US, open to candidates able to support any North American time zone and able to travel (moderate travel, quarterly within North America to attend internal meetings for Inviso as well as Microsoft, and/or clients, to conferences, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Support
- Develop a pipeline of 3x annual revenue target.
- Generate leads from Microsoft and other channels, leveraging your own network and Inviso’s.
- Engage prospects through events, conferences, marketing campaigns, direct, and indirect channels.
- Deliver commercial insight and manage customer feedback to shape GTM strategy, deal and offering strategy, understanding market positioning and strengths/weaknesses.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Communication and collaboration with Microsoft sales reps, current customers, and prospects
- Research accounts to identify key players, Microsoft account alignment, market/industry position and strategy, sales opportunities, and challenges.
- Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
- Ensure sales pipeline and contractual documentation materials meet Inviso quality standards, brand alignment and Go-To-Market messaging consistency.
- Maintain market knowledge including competitive pricing and offers, policies and strategies.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Practice Leads to align efforts on Go To Market strategy, offerings, newsletters, lead gen campaigns, etc to produce well-qualified leads in desired service areas.
- Coordinate with Practice Leads and Delivery teams to align efforts from sales through to delivery, including project kickoff, change order management and account relationship management.
- Work with executive leadership to continuously improve sales efficacy and the overall customer journey.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum seven (7) years selling inside the Microsoft Partner Channel ecosystem, either as an employee of Microsoft or a track record of sales success at a previous Microsoft Partner. Applicants without this experience are not eligible for this position.
- Proven experience as a sales hunter, building your own leads and pipeline.
- Proven experience managing full sales cycle from lead generation through closing deals.
- Successful track record of collaborating with delivery teams during pre-sales conversations and facilitating smooth transitions from sales to delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Professional Sales, Engineering, Information Technology is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & Word from a consultative perspective.
- Previous Azure and/or Microsoft 365 cloud exposure & experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
This will be an OTE role meaning that it will include a competitive base and compelling commission/bonus structure. Inviso is focused on creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is between $100,000 and $150,000 and OTE of $300,000+ (base + bonus) annually. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, as well as Inviso’s differing lines of business.
