Solution Assessment Technical Consultant
Microsoft Consulting Group — Guadalajara, Mexico
About the Role
Join Inviso's US Solution Assessment program and work directly with Microsoft end-customers to assess their IT environments and shape strategies for cloud, security, and AI transformation. You'll lead technical assessments end-to-end — from tooling deployment or workshop facilitation through executive-level recommendations — partnering with Microsoft Account Teams, Specialists, and CSAs along the way.
Eligibility
- Based in the Guadalajara area (hybrid: part remote, part in-office)
- C2-level English fluency — all communication is in English
- Eligible to onboard as a Microsoft vendor (v-dash) in a Managed Service (without 6-month break)
What You'll Do
- Deliver assessments end-to-end across Azure, Security, and Copilot portfolios — plan, deploy, discover, analyze, and report on multiple concurrent engagements.
- Engage customers directly as the primary project owner, guiding tooling setup, data collection, and cloud/AI adoption strategy.
- Deploy and troubleshoot assessment tools including Azure Migrate, Dr Migrate, CSAT, AppCAT, and CloudPilot.
- Translate findings into action — executive summaries, risk analysis, business cases, and modernization recommendations.
- Lead Copilot & AI enablement engagements — facilitate scenario-discovery workshops, quantify business value through data-driven exercises, advise on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agent adoption, and help customers build a defensible AI roadmap from pilot through scale.
- Present to CXO and technical audiences, validating outcomes with Microsoft stakeholders and supporting handover into POCs, migrations, and partner delivery.
What We're Looking For

- 2+ years in technical consulting, pre-sales, or solution delivery
- 2+ years hands-on within the Microsoft ecosystem (FTE, vendor, or partner)
- Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Security

- Exposure to the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or similar methodologies
- C2 English; proven ability to present to both CXO and technical audiences
- Strong multi-project management, attention to detail, and Excel proficiency
Preferred
- Cloud migration, modernization, or security transformation experience
- Hands-on with assessment/migration tools: Dr Migrate, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Cloudamize, Movere, AppCAT, or Block64
- AI/Copilot or automation experience in a delivery context
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, PowerShell, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V); Oracle or RHEL admin a plus
- Certifications: AZ-900, SC-900, MS-900, AI-900, AB-900
