Senior Account Manager

Our team is looking for a Senior Account Manager to play a pivotal role driving the successful execution of client engagements. This role sits at the intersection of account leadership, project delivery, and team management—ensuring client programs are delivered with excellence, efficiency, and innovation.
This is a hands-on client-facing role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, while being able to juggle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Translate client priorities into actionable project plans with clear scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ensure visibility and alignment across all projects, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage resourcing across teams and track performance metrics to optimize delivery and scalability.
Project Management & Execution
- Assist with the development statements of work (SOWs), proposals, estimates, and delivery schedules for new and ongoing engagements.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of projects, including timeline creation, task assignment, risk tracking, scope management, budget management, QA, and reporting.
- Collaborate with architect, engineering, and operations teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
- Apply agile methodologies and sprint planning to manage workloads, drive focus, and improve team velocity.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and satisfaction.
- Facilitate executive reviews and reporting, including monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) as needed.
- Anticipate client needs and adjust project plans or resourcing accordingly.
- Identify opportunities to expand scope through upselling or cross-selling aligned services.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and support project teams that include project managers, analysts, engineers, developers, creatives, and technical specialists.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and growth.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal capability development and playbook creation.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure delivery alignment.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Implement and refine delivery frameworks, tools, and processes to drive consistency and efficiency across teams.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Support internal initiatives focused on improving delivery readiness, quality assurance, and team enablement.
- Monitor risks, blockers, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in project management, account management, or consulting, ideally technical delivery
- Experience supporting IT or Microsoft-focused projects; familiarity with Data & AI, M365 and Azure
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase initiatives (digital transformation, security, data, automation)
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams (architects and engineers); able to work independently and juggle multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO), Asana, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI
- Experience with managing budgets, resource tracking, and roadmap-style delivery
- Pre-sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or communication (or equivalent experience)
