Inviso engages closely with Microsoft to support the customer cloud journey across segments and industries, supporting Cloud Security and Modern Workplace adoption by bringing together an understanding of customers’ current IT Security tools, aligning to business priorities and objectives, and providing subject matter expertise in Microsoft technologies and services. These pillars together help customers understand their current state and develop cloud adoption strategies, extending their capabilities & empowering their organizations.

This role within Microsoft’s US Technology & Services Center fills a key function within the US Solution Assessment organization, navigating customers’ current IT estates and usage to provide consultative business insights into Cloud Security and Modern Workplace. The results delivered empower customers to better understand & manage their current infrastructures, unlock their ability to optimize the current estate, and provide a common foundation of data paired with actionable insights to enable Microsoft, Partner, and Customer to collaborate in strategic cloud security adoption planning.

This role works closely with the broader team, engaging directly with customers to deliver successful outcomes, and as such, communication skills and attention to detail are key. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong project management skills, initiative, analytic capability, and the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of a customer organization (from IT staff to project managers to business decision makers) as well as Microsoft’s internal teams.

Successful candidates will deliver all components of an Assessment, including:

  • Data Collection: Conducting workshop-based questionnaires to gather data around current security tools and practices.
  • Analysis: Completing analysis of the collected data, identifying key insights, and producing an Executive Summary Assessment Report.
  • Technical/Consultative Discussions: Drive Security and Microsoft 365 focused digital transformation conversations, aligned to customer priorities.
  • Presentation: Present key insights and actionable recommendations in an Executive Summary to relevant customers (CXO, Technical Lead, etc.) and Microsoft field (ATU, STU, etc.) stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of practical experience in the extended Microsoft ecosystem (as FTE, Vendor, Partner, or otherwise engaged in the positioning of Microsoft solutions), with experience in solution sales, technical sales, or consulting around Microsoft Security solutions (particularly within the M365 stack or other end-user Security solutions, though Azure security experience is also desired).
  • Ability to engage in technical/data-driven as well as business-focused conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the timely delivery of a portfolio of multiple, complex projects concurrently.

Additional Desirable Experience:

  • Broader project/customer engagement management experience
  • Presales/Solution Definition: Ability to understand customer business and technical requirements to assess options, recommend solutions, and provide data-driven justifications for those recommendations.
  • Fluency in French or Spanish (but not required)

Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is between $65,000 up to $95,000 annually. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, as well as Inviso’s differing lines of business. In addition to the base pay, Inviso provides access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, annual training reimbursement, paid time off, and paid holidays, among other benefits.
