Inviso is looking for a Senior Director, Operations, to lead our global Shared Services organization, which includes IT, HR and Recruiting departments, as well as functions including legal, vendor management, and more. This role will report directly to the CEO, serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and will partner closely with the Senior Director, Finance, to achieve our most strategic goals.

Inviso delivers professional services in multiple lines of business to a global clientele via teams of consultants distributed worldwide and the resulting complexity provides a huge opportunity for this role to deeply understand the business, identify opportunities, and execute on strategies to strengthen the business. This is a remote role, open to candidates able to support any North American time zone. Seattle-area candidates will have the opportunity to work from the Inviso office to whatever extent is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, train and develop a global team currently spanning the US, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, and Malaysia across IT, HR, and Recruiting departments.
  • Lead, inspire, and enable department leaders to manage and mature their departments to achieve the SLT’s goals
  • Own and manage key Shared Services functional areas including:
    • Legal: internal handling of basic contract review, NDA, etc.; liaison with outside counsel
    • Regulatory compliance and risk management
    • Vendor management and procurement negotiations
    • Microsoft Supplier relationship
    • Facilities
  • Analyze inter and intra-department business processes and identify areas for improvement – with an emphasis on repeatable, scalable processes and automation/AI
  • Translate business needs and SLT goals into clear strategies, plans, and processes that align with the short and long-term goals
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective listener and problem solver
  • Partner with the Senior Director, Finance, in supporting and strengthening cross-functional processes that span Finance and Shared Services, e.g., in selection and implementation of the new ERP and PSA system(s), and in providing resiliency to the Finance functions.
  • Deliver RoB reporting to SLT on monthly and quarterly bases to provide status updates and demonstrate progress on key initiatives and goals.
  • Develop, measure and report operational KPIs/OKRs across the business and communicate to all stakeholders. Identify and analyze business performance to provide operational improvement initiatives to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a functional resilience plan to identify key dependencies (people, systems, suppliers etc) and risks. The plan will detail contingencies to address major risks identified.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience:

  • 15+ years in Operations.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Track record of strong people leadership, proven ability to run a global team spanning multiple departments and functions.
  • Ability to engage with and motivate team members across all levels of the company.
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a continuously changing business environment.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate information to senior management, clients and suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process skills.
  • Strong grasp of risk management concepts, strategies and approaches.
  • Experience in implementation of enterprise systems – e.g., payroll, benefits, HR, timecard, ERP, PSA, etc

Desirable Experience:

  • Direct accounting and finance experience
  • Professional or IT Services experience
  • Experience with consolidation or other reorganization of functions within corporate operations
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting. MBA, CPA, or similar

Compensation:

The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package that includes an annual base salary, plus bonus. Annual base salary for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000, based on experience and other factors. Inviso is focused on creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported.
